Romania Registered cover with Mineral stamps 2010

Registered cover received from Silviu Thank you! The set is issued in 2010, depicting Quartz Calcite (50B), Free Gold, Quartz (1.40L), Rhodochrosite (1.60L), Calcite (2.40L)  and Red Barite (7.60L).

Romania 1985 set of 6 stamps

The issue depicts Quartz and Calcite (50B), Native Copper (1L), Gypsum (2L), Quartz (3L), Stibnite (4L) and Tetrahedrite (5L).

Gypsum is a mineral composed of Calcium and Sulphur.
Stibnite is composed mainly by Sulphur.
Tetrahedrite is a mineral with Composition of Iron and Zinc, with some Silver, Copper and Mercury.

Lithuania 2009 - Amber

Lithuania Post issued in 2009, Palanga Amber Museum. The issue depicts the Amber Museum, as well as the Amber known as "Sun-Stone", which is one of the largest piece of Amber in the world!

Canada Minerals 1992

Thanks to Laura, for this wonderful Canada Minerals strip. Issued in 1992, with denomination of 42c on all 5 stamps, from left to right, the stamps depicts Copper, Sodalite, Gold, Galena and Grossular Garnet.

Galena is a type of ore mineral. Lead, Sulphur and Silver can be prospected from this ore.
Grossular Garnet comes in different colours, the Garnet that the stamp depict is Hessonite Grossular (Orange-brownish Colour).
